There are hundreds of virtual platforms in the marketplace today. Some good, some clumsy. Some that fit one type of program some that fit another. Some very expensive, some not so much. How do you find and decide on the right fit for your needs and your budget? How does your small staff learn about and take on new technology? Is it even worth it?

The answer is YES. Our experience has shown that even before the challenges of quarantine and budget crisis good virtual programming can result in an even bigger attendance than many in person events!

Using technology to your advantage with virtual exhibit halls, community building apps, and professionally organized presentations can help ensure that you are still able to interact with your constituents to share valuable content and give valuable exposure to those who support your organization.

If you need help figuring out where to start, we can help.

Site Solutions Worldwide (SSW) has helped the Spina Bifida Association with meeting planning for over two decades. When the pandemic hit, and we had to switch our in-person advocacy training and day on short notice, SSW stepped up to the plate and came up with a creative, economical, and successful solution that allowed us to move forward on schedule with more people attending than attended our in-person event the previous year!

I am the President of an organization of over 2300 reading teachers in Virginia-the Virginia State Reading Association.  Our aim is to promote literacy throughout the state of Virginia and beyond. Our annual conference, which attracts close to 1200 teachers and administrators every year, was cancelled when the governor of our state instituted stay at home orders to all but essential workers.  As a result we debated whether to wholly cancel the conference or move it onto a virtual platform.  We considered the implications as a Board and with the help of Site Solutions, we made the decision to move forward. In a matter of less than 2 weeks, we moved our conference to a virtual platform and had over 800 registrants!  We could only have done this with the help of Nathalie Whitton and her team of exemplary professionals.  They worked with the speakers, rehearsing for a virtual environment.  They worked with our sponsors and offered air time to present prerecorded commercials.  And Site Solutions worked on the technical side-the behind the scenes work-to make it all come together seamlessly.  We had virtually no glitches.  The marketing for the conference was on a daily schedule, shining a light on many sessions.  As a result some sessions, which had historically not been well subscribed, were filled beyond anything in our history.  This experience has opened up our creativity and planning to a whole new line of business.  We were thrilled with the outcome and we are thrilled about our future moving forward.  We are grateful to Team Site Solutions Worldwide.  This professional group helped us transform our conference and will help us as we transform our organization’s future.
